Join Our Team
ECI is growing and expanding our team. We’re looking for talented, motivated construction professionals to help us grow. We offer a great working environment in new state of the art offices, an exciting pipeline of projects, a team atmosphere of support and positivity, a place to sharpen your skills and develop good habits while building interesting projects. We’re not DC’s largest…..we’re a place where the owners of the business are involved every day, a place where you’re not just a number…..a place where you can make an impact and move through the ranks. A place you can call home.
ECI has a multiple-layered structure, allowing us to form teams, develop group cohesion and depth, maintain bench strength, develop talent, and provide flexibility in staffing projects at different levels at various stages in the project. In the office, we have project executives, project managers, assistant project managers. In the field, we have site superintendents and assistant site superintendents.
Project Management System
ECI uses Procore, a collaborative web-based project management software which is the project portal. This amazing tool allows us to keep information flowing continuously among all stakeholders, allows the Owner to view all aspects of the project every day, and us to document and archive all relevant project data in one place. We also use many other state of the art tools, including PlanGrid (for drawing management), PlanSwift (for take-offs), and Phoenix (for CPM Scheduling). We welcome the opportunity to show you how Procore works. We think you will be immediately drawn to it.
ECI Quality Control Strategy
We believe that the best way to achieve high quality work is to select the best subcontractors, to give them fair contracts, to provide an environment where they can succeed and appropriate time to do their work. We scrutinize shop drawings and submittals to make sure that the contractors understand the drawings and specs, we update and distribute the schedule regularly so they understand our expectations and staff up appropriately, and we help them in the field when they need it. We do not accept low-quality work with the hope that it passes un-noticed. Punch list preparation starts as soon as we break ground. We hope these beliefs are those you can espouse, and methods and strategies you want to learn and commit to.
