In the New Urbanist community of Lakelands in Gaithersburg, MD, ECI has completed the Shaare Torah Synagogue. Working with Owner's Representative Regan Associates, Architrave, PC and a dedicated team of lay leaders, ECI completed the project within a tight schedule, during which we scheduled non-work days in conformance with the synagogue's religious observance.

The building features decorative corbeled brick patterning, expansive glass curtain walls, and decorative EIFS cornices and copper work. Inside, there are classrooms, a sanctuary, offices and meeting rooms, with an abundance of interior glazed partitions to maximize interior light. The building is designed to have additional structures attached, which will house an enlarged sanctuary space and additional classrooms.
