The Benjamin Condominium is another in the long line of buildings ECI has converted from old, tired apartments to upscale, modern condominiums. We worked closely with the developer, Broad Street Ventures, and Bonstra | Haresign Architects to turn their vision into reality.

The developer hired ECI to do early budgeting, scheduling and value engineering to ensure that the project met the budget. The facade was restored, new windows installed, and the entire interior was gutted to convert 20 apartments into 24 condominiums.

The basement floor was lowered to allow for terrace level walk-outs with sun decks and penthouse roof terraces added. The roof work presented complex structural challenges which ECI, Broad Street and Bonstra navigated with teamwork, focus and resolve. All new systems and finishes were installed, creating a truly first-class condominium building.
